“The Grave Review” our latest 48 Hour Film.

2009 Minneapolis 48 Hour Film Project “The Grave Review”

Filmmaking teams from throughout the Minneapolis area successfully completed a weekend of filmmaking. Films were due on June 14th, and the last few minutes before the deadline saw filmmakers, operating on little sleep and lots of adrenaline, rushing to get their films in on time.

The 48 Hour Film Project is a wild and sleepless weekend in which you and a team make a movie—write, shoot, edit and score it—in just 48 hours.

On Friday night, you get a character, a prop, a line of dialogue and a genre, all to include in your movie. 48 hours later, the movie must be complete. Then it will show at a local theater, usually in the next week.

In 2008, some 30,000 filmmakers made films in 70 cities. This year, filmmakers around the world are taking the challenge to make a film in just 48 hours.

Elements

Character: Kathleen or Kevin Schnabel, Expert

Animal Humane Society – Pets on Demand

Twice a month we visit the Animal Humane Society of Golden Valley to film pet profiles for Comcast Local On Demand. Two of us have already adopted dogs as a result. We are proud to be a part of this really great initiative.
Here is a photo of our very own Jessica Teigen shooting a segment with Deb Balzer, Media Relations/Marketing Manager on a Catahoula Leopard mix rescued from down south.

Incidentally, The Walk for Animals is this weekend. If you feel like donating to Jessica’s cause, go here.

Filming with Mapmyride.com at Frostbike 2009

Token Media recently finished production of a series of web videos for MapMyRide.com covering the Frostbike tradeshow at QBP in Minneapolis. Loaded with top products from the best vendors, Frostbike gives you a window into cycling industry trends.  We filmed and edited over 100 interviews with personalities like Greg Lemond, brands like Shimano and Garmin, and a tour of the stunning LEED certified QBP headquarters. The delivery of these videos is through an interactive web video player featured at MapMyRide.com.  This method helps simplify the distribution of a large quantity of videos and enables Mapmyride to easily track viewer data. It also allows the users to share videos with friends or embed them on their site.  MapMyRide.com has one of the hottest apps for the iPhone, iMapMyRide, which allows users to track their daily training data which is linked to MapMyRide.com’s powerful social network.

This is our third year of filming the Mercedes’ sales incentive trip which is organized by BI of Edina, MN. Our voyage began with a red eye to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.  The next 4 days consisted of filming the events arranged for the top U.S. Mercedes’ dealers in attendance along with editing all the footage, on-site, to be played at the final evening’s award ceremony. In addition, we also prepared several animated video loops to be projected during parts of the award ceremony.  Video coming soon!

The Wait is Over! ProHybrid Training Vol. 2 is Now Available

Token Media and hockey goaltending visionary instructor, Zach Sikich, are proud to announce ProHybrid Training DVD Vol. 2. This DVD is packed with 60 minutes of detailed instruction which goes further into the ProHybrid Goaltending System to discover the keys to precise goalie positioning.

Token Media worked with ProHybrid Training founder Zach Sikich to produce a visually exciting and entertaining DVD loaded with visual f/x, animation, high energy music, and fast paced editing. The entire video was shot and edited in HD by Token’s Dan Hundley; additional camera work by Lee Lyon; animation, package design and web site by Mark LaCroix.

The entire scope of work also included DVD replication, packaging design, design of the ProHybrid Training website and design of posters for use at trade shows.  We also created a trailer video for advertising on Zach’s YouTube site.
