At the Cannes’ Film Festival

3 April 2010

Our film “The Grave Review” was one of thirteen 48 Hour Film Project films to have been selected to screen at the Cannes Film Festival, the most well-known film festival in the world! Our film will screen at the Short Film Corner as part of the Marche du Film on Monday, May 17, at 1:30pm.

The 48 Hour Film Project is a wild and sleepless weekend in which you and a team make a movie—write, shoot, edit and score it—in just 48 hours. On Friday night, you get a character, a prop, a line of dialogue and a genre, all to include in your movie. 48 hours later, the movie must be complete.

In 2009, nearly 40,000 filmmakers made 3,000 films in in 76 cities around the world.  Our film took first place out of almost 100 Minneapolis films.  ”The Grave Review” went on to win 1st Runner Up for Best Film at Filmapalooza – the finale festival for the 2009 worldwide tour.
